Lauren Singer Secretary
Lauren received her Bachelor's degree in psychology and biology from The University of Texas in 2010. Lauren’s focus during her undergraduate studies was the neuroscience of decision-making and the evolutionary psychology of human behavior. Following graduation, Lauren went on to study counseling psychology at Southern Methodist University, where she received her Master's degree. Lauren has always had a deep interest in the study of addiction, as many of her family members have struggled with this addiction throughout her life. However, it was during Lauren’s graduate program at SMU where she had the opportunity to intern at an inpatient chemical dependency unit, and there she developed a passion for helping those with mental illness and substance abuse/dependence, especially at-risk adolescents. Lauren now works as a Research Coordinator at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in the Psychosocial Research and Depression Clinic, Department of Psychiatry. She works mainly with women who are at-risk for prenatal and postpartum depression, although Lauren has noticed that addiction and substance abuse cuts across all populations and is present in some way in the majority of her clients. It is an important topic that needs more focus resources, and awareness!

Jane Earles Event Director
Jane Earles has life experience with addiction. She is currently pursuing an SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) certification to be able to work with the traumatized population. She is also pursuing a dual Life Coach certification. Jane worked over 10 years as an Executive Personal Assistant providing support for multiple executives in several disciplines. She owned a private horse business for many years. The community she served was mostly children and teens; some of which had traumatic lifestyles with fear and addiction issues. As a part of the her business she provided camps and various other events to bring belonging to the participants of this community. Jane developed a heart for children and teen trauma and addiction after serious life threatening issues with both of her children in their late teens. Both of her children agreed to go to a rehab program due to out of control addictions. It was a time of confusion, chaos and pain for her entire family. Over the following 10 years there were ups and downs in the process. Tragically, her daughter died in a gun related addiction accident at age 29. Jane's passion to provide help for others is growing every day. Love, Cassidy is a way to share hope with those in a desperate situation and provide educational resources to help families proactively confront addiction scenarios.
