Grapevine Naloxone & Prevention Training Class

We had a successful training and educational event on how to administer Naloxone, to reverse a heroin/opioid overdose in Grapevine, Texas. Mark Kinzly with AHRC ~ Austin Harm Reduction Coalition and TONI ~ Texas Overdose Naloxone Initiative presented the training class. Mark speaks with knowledge, honesty and compassion about the crisis that we are in. He teaches us how to save lives with Naloxone and also gives information to help those dealing with Substance Use Disorder.

We held a private luncheon for our Police Chief's, Police, Mayor's and City Officials within our communities to talk about the Opioid Crisis. Collaborating on a solution of how to get Naloxone into the hands of those officials who are on the "front lines" of this epidemic.

Thank you to our sponsors Mesa Springs, Dallas TAAP, Be Well Colin County Trevor's House and Stone Gate.
